I got 2 Ruby Barbs just this morning from a garden centre that specialize is fish.The are both very healthy and look like a ruby garp should. I took them home, placed the bag in the tank, and then released them into the water. I have a 2 or 3 Gallon Tank (I'm not sure) with a Golden Sucking Loach and a gold fish, and of course the 2 new Ruby Barbs. I have a small ornament bridge and an ormament of a walrus. I have 1 plastic plant and a live plant. I have a thick layer of gravel at the bottom and the tank is a bit dirty because i cant clean it out with my sucking loach. I also have a filter. Anyway, I got a male and a female and they are called John and Nettie. I am wondering if Nettie is pregnent. She and John are constantly round the live plant and they are always beside each other. Nettie has a greyish area on her stumoch close to her tail. Is she pregnent, is she is, is her habitat suitable for her and if you can some tips for me? I have never bred fish in my life. I dont mind getting a new tank or anything, anything to keep her healthy, and I am 13 by the way. I need help, thanks in advance

ive got a 20 gallon aquarium i got from my son,including fish,plecs,sevrums,ruby shark,clown loaches to name a few,,since ive had it ive traeted it twice for white spot,now 1 of the fish has finrot.ive treated it twice now,how long does it take to clear?also how many times roughly will it take to get better(finrot),ive thought of cleaning it from scratch again,,is this a good idea or not,please be kind!im new to all this,,thanks in advance for any answers
the little one with finrot,,its been a week now since the second dose,is just staying in the corner at top of tank,and dosent seem to be eating
i have the temp at 30,,ive aslo got barbs,danios.an the ill ones tail loks like bart simpsons head,if you kno what i mean(sorry)only description i can give,and its a gold/orange colour
thanks to everyone who replied,,i aslo thought i had too many in the tank but my son kept saying it was fine,ill go to my locan fish store and ask them if they will take some from me,as in the tank there are 2 sevrums,,2 plec,one of which is at least 5inch,5 blue danio,,2 clown loach,, 1 ruby shark,2 barb and the little orangy/gold ones,plus another,,i agree its FAR too many,,,cheers again folks

The holiday's are just around the corner and I need some ideas on what to order in for our jewelry store for the holiday's. We usually order in diamond and gemstone jewelry, but considering the recession, we would like some suggestions from the public on what you will be buying this year so we can order accordingly Thanks in advance!

1. What metals will you be buying? Gold (rose, white or yellow), silver, platinum, or alternative metals?

2. Is there any particular gems you will be looking for? Rubies, emerald, pearls, diamonds, lab grown gems or imiations (CZ's) ect...

3. What price point will you be looking at? Under $100, $200-$400, $500-$1000, $1000-$2000, $2000 and over

4. Will you be looking for a particular item? Bracelets, earrings, pendants, neclaces ect...

5. Are you looking for any particular style, such as key pendants, black and white diamond jewelry, charms or charm bracelets ect...

Any other suggestions are welcome as well. I really appriciate your time and will choose the answer with the best suggestions for 10pts.

I've been dating my girlfriend for about 6 months I already a couple gifts picked out.

I think I've gotten it narrowed down to earrings but I don't know what would be appropiate at this stage. Garnet is her birthstone, that might be my safest bet but not original enough because I think she has enough garnet jewerly. Her favorite color is green but I don't know if she likes emeralds that might be to risky. Diamonds might be to much and I only want to spend around 200 which would be about 1/8thct? Pearls, are those for old ladies? We are in our early 20's. Platinum.. too bland? Do people inscribe earrings?

Sorry if this has been posted up already, I am asking more specific questions then I saw in the other posts.

It's on Valentine's Day and I know it's a little early, but I don't want to wait til last minute. I have a dress that is different shades of blue on the top and the rest is a darker blue. It comes down to the knees and it spaghetti strap. I have silver high heels to wear with it and silver earrings, but since this one is on Valentine's Day, I want to get a pink or red dress, or maybe a purple dress. I want to get one will look good with the necklace my boyfriend gave me for Christmas. It's on a gold chain that's really thin and a purple stone that looks like a birthstone in the shape of a heart. I don't have to worry about getting new high heels cuz I already have silver, gold, and black. I also have plenty of earrings and things for my hair. Should I wear the blue dress or get a new one? And what color? What shoes should I wear?? Please help! Thanks in advance!

I'm thinking about getting my girlfriend pearls for valentine's day. preferably a set: necklace, earrings, bracelet. but i haven't made up my mind yet. i think she likes pearls, but i asked her about a month ago and she somehow knew i was considering getting her some for v-day so she just said she didn't want me to spend too much money on her. she's a farm girl, and she doesn't have much jewelry. what she has is what i bought for her, and she wears it all the time. she doesn't dress up much, just for Sunday church and stuff, but i'd like her to have several jewelry options when she does. also, i heard pearl is june's birthstone, and she was born in june. i'm also planning on getting her some chocolates, roses, and a stuffed animal because that is all she asked for.

My only concern about pearls is that i heard some girls talking somehow, i don't remember if it was real life or a tv show, and they said pearls are for old people. is this true or do young women like pearls too?
