She always seems to show me up, no matter what I do! If I wear a black cocktail dress with spaghetti straps and matching pumps, she shows up in a strapless number with stiletto heels; if I wear diamond teardrop earrings and carry a Dior handbag, she will show up with a ruby choker and carrying a Gucci--I just can't win!

It is especially galling to me because she is always making snide remarks about how I don't have as feminine an appearance as she does. I admit, I am not all girly like she is, but does she have to rub it in my face?

Anyway, what are some suggestions for how I can show her up at the dinner party?
