It's exterior is rough with gouges but when I hold it up to the light I can see that it has a deep red color on some of the edges. The other stone is a rough, mottled blue stone. I thought it might be quartz, though I haven't been able to find a pic of quartz with this vibrant of a blue color. It measures 3"X 2.75"X2". I don't think it's very clear/transparent and it's quite dense and heavy. Both stones are pretty heavy for their sizes and I've done little more than clean the dirt off of them, so I'm not sure. They were both found in North Carolina. Any clue as to how I can find out what they are (especially the blue one) and what they may be worth (if anything)?
