I'm not planning to sell them or anything, but I'm just wondering if there is a certain mark I should look for? There is a mark that looks like a diamond (like an upside-down triangle with squared edges) and I'm wondering if that has anything to do with telling me that they're genuine ruby or not.

I currently work at a "mom and pop" diner. I love my customers, but the business itself is run very poorly. My boss (who is my aunt) doesn't know how to delegate tasks well. I do ALOT of work (everything from making the food, to cleaning up, to waiting on tables, to running the cash register...you name it, I do it!) I really do love working there..but can't stand the disorganization! I am 18, and am thinking about going into food service, but I have never had a "real job" (only worked for family). There is a Ruby tuesday's restaurant up the street, and I am thinking about applying there. Do you think it would be a good idea? Is it a bad place to work? Do you think I would have a really hard time working there? Like I said..I have never had any other job, except for what I'm doing now. I really love my costomers and talking with people, and just keeping myself busy.

Any advice for Ruby Tuesday's? Would waitressing there be harder than what I'm doing now?Do you think I could hand it?

my mother has been dead for nearly two years...nearly everyday since her death i have found little white feathers all around me...in my home...in my work place...in my car...shopping...in friends homes...its nothing im currently wearing or have in my home...i found one in a box of things at the place that i worked...today i was cleaning the porch...i have carefully vacummed every inch of that porch for two years now...and today i found a tiny ruby ring (her birthstone)...1/2inch across that once belonged to her...on the carpet of my porch...i am going through hardship after hardship in my life...do you think this is a message from her?
i didnt mention but 10 minutes after she died and i was still in the room with her...my cell phone rang and it said mom calling...

also when we were at the funeral home making arrangements her car that we were driving began honking for no reason...once i understand but two days n a row at the funeral home only...and never again...

yes the electric candle in her bedroom window burned out the night she died...

my lights and computer went haywire as well as my sons who lives hours away...
about the cell phone...my mother didnt even own a cell phone...

Before when I brought her in, she was so quiet and shy.
Well, she's still shy but whenever she's active, she's seriously active.

Also, does it eat anything shiny? My mom witness the cat on her dressing table and she hasn't seen her red ruby gem for a few days...

Also, she tends to bite and tries to eat my zipper.

There's no other cats around, and I am not here all of the time to watch her. Should I get another cat to get her to stop going nuts and trying to find anything as a play thing??????? That includes my foot, too.

when i was baby(after 6 months old) i got my ears pierced but they started bleeding while i was sleeping so my mom took the earrings out and they closed. She cleaned them like the piercers tell you to and they weren't healed yet when all this happened.
I got them pierced again at 9 and they started bleeding while I was at school then I took one out when I got home but the other earring was stuck(the hole had already closed halfway). So i left it in for a few hours and took it out eventually.
Now that it's the holidays I want to get my ears pierced again. I dont know if I should though because I'm afraid they will close again. I want to know if I should take that risk or just let my ears be? Also, what can be causing them to close even though I cleaned them as I was directed to? Can I be allergic to the earrings(they were 14kt gold studs of my birthstone)?

My mom gave me a choice of what I want for a present for my 12th birthday of a necklace and earrings set. I'm deciding between either real white pearls, real black pearls, or real blue topaz. The pearls are really pretty, but im not sure where i would wear them, and the blue topaz is my birthstone, but not as valuable as the pearl. Which one would you get? thanks!
