Infected Pierced Ear Help?

I recently got my ears pierced like a week ago for the second time (the first time didn't work out too well either). Within a day of getting my ears pierced one of them started to bother me-the same one as last time i got me ears pierced 4 years ago. Its a little swollen and red-not noticeable though unless you really look at it. Is it possible to be allergic to the earring in one ear but not the other? I'm cleaning it well using the ear cleaning antiseptic (the one they give you at Claire's) 3 times a day and also using neosporin-i have the 14k gold april birthstone studs. Oh and taking them out is not an option! Help?

Oh and if I switch to titanium earrings is that a bad idea since i would have to take out the earring (and because it is swollen it might be hard to put back in)

Earring color?

Well, thanks to previous answerers to my question on how to get my dad to say yes to a double piercing! Now I need some help deciding what color of stud I should get to have put in on this Saturday. When I originally got my ears pierced a few years ago, I chose pink since it was my birthstone, October's color. But now I'm thinking of doing something else rather than pink 'cause I did that last time. Claire's only has birthstone colors, so don't say like gold or silver. Any suggestions for what color stone to have put in?

how long would it take to mail something half way across the country?[california to texas]?

So I use to live in California. But now i live in texas because of my parents. and im only 12. so my best friend wanted to send me something. and i was going to send her something back. but she said she already sent it like 4 days ago. [december 16]. so it been 4 days.
but the last time i sent her something [it was a card] its took less then 4 days i think, and right now im wondering how long would it really take. because im worried when she maiiled the gift, the mail man or mail woman probably kept it? idk; because she told me it was a pair of my birthstone earrings.

so uhmmm help?
