I currently work at a “mom and pop” diner. I love my customers, but the business itself is run very poorly. My boss (who is my aunt) doesn’t know how to delegate tasks well. I do ALOT of work (everything from making the food, to cleaning up, to waiting on tables, to running the cash register…you name it, I do it!) I really do love working there..but can’t stand the disorganization! I am 18, and am thinking about going into food service, but I have never had a “real job” (only worked for family). There is a Ruby tuesday’s restaurant up the street, and I am thinking about applying there. Do you think it would be a good idea? Is it a bad place to work? Do you think I would have a really hard time working there? Like I said..I have never had any other job, except for what I’m doing now. I really love my costomers and talking with people, and just keeping myself busy.

Any advice for Ruby Tuesday’s? Would waitressing there be harder than what I’m doing now?Do you think I could hand it?

I’m going to my grandparents house for Christmas, and they are very, very conservative. I am trying to find some kind of very small stud earrings that would disguise ear piercings. These are recent piercings and I don’t want to risk taking out the earrings and having them grow over. Does anyone have any advice on what would best cover a piercing?

I’ve been dating my girlfriend for about 6 months I already a couple gifts picked out.

I think I’ve gotten it narrowed down to earrings but I don’t know what would be appropiate at this stage. Garnet is her birthstone, that might be my safest bet but not original enough because I think she has enough garnet jewerly. Her favorite color is green but I don’t know if she likes emeralds that might be to risky. Diamonds might be to much and I only want to spend around 200 which would be about 1/8thct? Pearls, are those for old ladies? We are in our early 20’s. Platinum.. too bland? Do people inscribe earrings?

Help! I’ve gotten my ears pierced like, 5 times now cuz the hole keeps closing in in the same spot but this time i got it done by a professional and i have to keep them in for 1-2 months. i have this liquid stuff to put on them 3 times a day, and they are the october birthstone. what should i do to not let them close up this time?

im unexperinced in thes.. my girlfriend told me that all she wanted for christmas from me was a picture , but i really want to give her a necklace, earrings or a ring mabye…
she was born in may so her birthstone is green, so should i give her something with a stone in green? but i really think that a whits stone would really go well with her, i dont know why but i think it would help like bring out her eyes more ( she has clear really bright eyes.. brown long hair) … im not real sure ..
