What’s a clever way to wrap my wife’s Christmas present?

I'm getting her a nice necklace with matching earrings. I'm looking for interesting ways to wrap them so she'll be surprised when she opens them.
Last year, for example, I gave her a set of earrings. I put them on a stuffed toy bear and wrapped it up.
Also, the box within a box isn't what I'm looking for.

How about in a Toblerone box? Everyone who gets a toblerone always guesses what it is, but this time it will be like the opposite – double bluff!! Oooh, you could also do a treasure hunt for her to find it too!

    Good luck. )

You could always try hiding them in the Christmas tree – and let her search for them.

You shoved them through a poor, defenseless teddy bear? :O
    How about you wear them?

do the rope thing on that ring commercial.

tie a string to her finger and wind it around your place. when she gets there, you’ll have the box sitting there.

    Good Luck.

it would be really cute if you put them in a bubble thingy you get out of a .25 cent machine :) on put it in like a coffee can so it looks like you got her something like…coffee

You could buy her a small, pretty jewelry box. Put the necklace in it, she will think she’s just getting the jewelry box so I think she would be surprised.

    dont wrap it up.

pretend you’ve forgot about her birthday.

then when she goes to bed leave a note saying love you with the necklace and earings next to it

    write:

    love you

p.s i didnt forget your birthday

you know what would surprise me? Waking up with them on! One year my hubby got me a diamond ring and I’m not sure how he did it (carefully of course lol) but when I woke up and came to,I realized it was on and was like WHOA lol!!!! If there’s a way you could get them on I’m sure she’d be really surprised to wake up wearing a little more bling than she went to bed with

You could put them into something totally unexpected, like in a pair of socks that you wrap in a box or a kitchen item like a pot. If the items are something traditional (like morrocan style) maybe you can put them into a CD jewel box (if they are slim enough) and make a CD cover, something personal just for her, the song names would be things meaningful to her.

That sounds so cute (what you did with the earrings!) :]
I’m not sure if this is what you’re looking for, but one year, my father wrapped up a box and put a piece of paper in it with a clue written on it (kind of like a treasure hunt). It led my mom into a different spot, where another clue was, etc.
Eventually, the last clue told her to open the garage door and – BAM – there was her brand new Mazda. I thought it was cool :]

Another idea is that you could get her these Godiva chocolate hearts:
and while she’s opening them, you could go grab the jewelry!

you can put it inside a hollow book so that she will think you got her a book
