Collagen is one of the substances that help our skin to stay young looking. Some people are hoping synthetic collagen in injections will bring back their youthful appearance again.
In the past using synthetic in collagen injections wasn’t available because scientist couldn’t figure out how to make a product that closely resembled human collagen. In 2006 scientist in Wisconsin created the first synthetic collagen that can be used for medical purposes in burn patients and reconstruction of bones. There are also plans in using this collagen for cosmetic purposes, such as collagen injections, but at this time there is not enough produced for that reason.
Collagen injections now are comprised mainly of bovine collagen. These can cause allergic reactions and skin infections. If you are one that is not allergic to the test done before the procedure, you still may develop an infection if the doctor doing the procedure doesn’t adhere to strict hygiene practices.
These injections also are only good for a few months, then you have to go back and have them done again. They are done by plastic surgeons, so you know they aren’t going to be cheap.
As far as the synthetic collagen goes, a lot of studies need to done, before I would deem it safe to inject into the skin. Putting synthetic things into our body just doesn’t sit right with me. I would much rather go natural. I am certainly not one waiting around for a collagen injection.
Instead I have found natural skin care products that stimulate my body to increase collagen. I can’t get more natural collagen than that. Products that do this contain some special ingredients listed below.
1) Functional Keratin found in CynergyTK. Works great at stimulating the body to produce collagen to rid your face of wrinkles and fine lines.
2) Nano-Lipobelle H EQ10 a form of CoenzymeQ10 that also stimulates the body to produce more natural collagen.
3) Active manuka honey works well stimulating the immune system and also supports the skin’s renewal process to build stronger collagen.
4) Phytessence Wakame helps to maintain the collagen and elastin in our skin by stopping the activity of hyaluronidase at destroying the hyaluronic acid in our skin.
You can find all these substances in anti aging skin care products from a company in New Zealand. So don’t wait around for synthetic collagen to be used for cosmetic purposes. This is available right now and is safe and very effective.
