ive had my ears pierced more than once and it was so long ago i think i had them done at claires but anyway, everyone says that its terrible to get your ears pierced at claires but they are WRONG! ive never had an infection for having my ears pierced or at least i dont think i have but they did a fabulous job and im going there again so if your deciding where to go for your ears get them done at claires. this is comming from a ten year old but if you dont want to listen to me thats your problem i have had plenty experience with my ears so i would listen thanks for reading

also, if you click ear piercing on their website, you can read the steps to care and also watch a video. the site also explains that they are trained professionals!!!! duh they'd be sued if they weren't. unlike places that just use a needle they may be professional but id rather the earring already be in instead of removing a needle and then putting an earring in ouch!!

i went to claires for my lobe piercing when i was 13 and they were really good and precise. they used a marker to put where the hole would be until i was happy and until they thought it looked even with the other ear. unlike what some retards think, the guns are steralized and the tip of the earring is not blunt but actually really sharp so it'll go right through. you won't feel a thing at all. if anything you feel a small squeeze, and the earrings are pre packaged so they are clean and they wear gloves as well that are disposable. the only reason some people give them a bad rap is because some people have more sensitive skin and so sometimes things get infected or if they are not taken care of properly they will get infected. i would go with gold of some sort because it is a better metal. lastly your price can range from 20 to about 40 dollars. the price of the earrings you choose determines the final total because the piercing is free and they have a chart you can look at with prices in stores and online! good luck!

I am not sure if I can say where I worked or not but it was at the mall and we were taught how to actually do the piercing.

I personally got my ears pierced at Claire's when I was 6 years old and have never had a problem with them (I'm 23 now)

I also know for a fact the the actual gun does not do the piercing. The earrings at Claire's come in a spring loaded cartridge so you can actually pierce your ears without loading it into the piercing gun. The cartridge that contains the earrings is loaded into the piercing gun so that it can make it easier to line up the earrings so they do not go in crooked. But I am sure if you ask them not to load them into the gun they might consider it.
Keep in mind that the earrings come preloaded into a sanitary cartridge, then into a plastic covered (whatever you want to call it) box, then a sealed box.

Yes the ear piercing is free but the earrings are a little bit pricey.

Good luck!
