Ear piercing at Claire’s?
and I want to know what type of earrings they have as starters.
I don’t mean the gold or silver or anything.
I mean the birthstones.
Is there a chart online I can look at?
And does anyone know how much it costs?
Thanks in advance

They have all the birthstones unless they run out. When you go to get your ears pierced they have a thing you can look at to choose which earring you want. I don’t know if they have a chart online you can look at. Just look up what birthstone you are, that way you know going in what it is. When I got my birthstone ear studs they were 50 bucks but that was cuz they were gold.

Well, I suppose you can just go online to some random website and type in birthstones. I’ve gotten my ears pierced at Claires, but I didn’t go for my birthstone, because I’m a garnet, and I don’t really like that deep, dark red. Instead I just got April, which was the diamond I think? I’m not sure. All of the birthstone’s costed the same amount.
But remember, these aren’t REALLY emeralds, and rubies etc. It’s just the colour.
You can walk into the store into the ear piercing section and look at the chart they have.
Hope I helped. (:

I don’t know if they have a chart online, but I’ve gotten my ear pierced there. They has just about every option available; gold/silver studs, “diamond” studs, as well as birth stones, they should give you a guide of their options when you go to get them pierced.
The total cost was about $31-$32.

The actual ear piercing at Claire’s is free. It’s the earrings that cost all the money. They make up for the price of the piercing with the price of earrings, which range from about $10-$40 depending on where you’re at. I would suggest getting your ear pierced somewhere else that doesn’t use a piercing gun, but rather a needle, but if you’re dead set on going to Claire’s, then here is some information.
Check out this website:
Go to packages on the little banner at the top, and click on either package 1 or package 2. It lists all of the earrings they sell. The average price is around $30 [which is pricy, but like I said, makes up for the price of the piercing]. The stones that you can get for birthstones include: garnet, amethyst, light sapphire, quartz, emerald, tanzanite, ruby, peridot, sapphire, pink quartz, light topaz, aquamarine, and blue zircon,
You can also get gold and silver balls with different sizes, as well as crystal daisies and barbells. Check the site out, it has all of the information.
Good luck!

The piercing is free, you buy the earrings. They usually have little studs.
I would suggest NOT going to Claire’s for your piercing. My ears both got infected when I had the pierced there, 2 times in fact. You need to go to a professional piercer because the guns cannot be sterilized properly, where as a piercers needle can be fully sterilized. It is also bad for your ears because at Claire’s they basically shove a blunt object right through your ear, where as a needle is sharp and goes through better. The people are Claire’s also have no professional training for piercing… go to a professional, not some broads who have no clue what the hell they’re doing.

I think when I got mine pierced at Walmart though, we paid about I don’t know…$25 for the earrings. I think at claires they have a selection you can choose from. Most stores do the piercing for free. Not sure about the birthstones though. They should have them, they have huge amounts of jewelry there.lol

I am not sure if I can say where I worked or not but it was at the mall and we were taught how to actually do the piercing.
I personally got my ears pierced at Claire’s when I was 6 years old and have never had a problem with them (I’m 23 now)
I also know for a fact the the actual gun does not do the piercing. The earrings at Claire’s come in a spring loaded cartridge so you can actually pierce your ears without loading it into the piercing gun. The cartridge that contains the earrings is loaded into the piercing gun so that it can make it easier to line up the earrings so they do not go in crooked. But I am sure if you ask them not to load them into the gun they might consider it.
Keep in mind that the earrings come preloaded into a sanitary cartridge, then into a plastic covered (whatever you want to call it) box, then a sealed box.Yes the ear piercing is free but the earrings are a little bit pricey.
Good luck!
