My favorite colour is (surprise!) bright red - ruby, scarlet and other gorgeous red hues. Colour of blood, passion and love, it is classy instead of trashy, pure instead of dirty and clean instead of sleazy. Opinions, please, and thank you for all answers!

My favorite color is the symbol of tranquility and of turbulence. Of quiet and of smooth. Of cold and depth. (Blue) Whenever I think of blue, I picture a pale blue light filtering in from a window on a cloudy day or the steely, smooth, quicksilver-blue of an ice-cold creek. I don’t like Caribbean oceans much. The north Pacific is much more beautiful a shade, in my opinion.
Close second is green, the color of vibrant life, lushness, and plenty.

Wow! I love red too. I have always thought of it as the color of passion and energy! I love a beautiful red dress and ruby is one of my favorite gems. The trees in Autumn turn brilliant shades of red, orange,and gold. I remember fall and visiting my grandmother up North in Ohio. The leaves were brilliant shades of red and my grandma and I would rake large piles of beautiful red leaves. The air was crisp and it was such a beautiful time of year. I guess that is why the color red was always so special to me. Peace!

to me though they mean slightly different things:
black to me is night and mystery,beauty, the hidden and unknown it is my total favourite colour.
Purple i see as relaxation, spirit, and sleep and of course favourite herb- lavender.It reminds me of a sunny day curled up in the window seat with my cat in my old apartment bedroom which had everything purple and silver in it.
Silver i see to be lunar connected and spiritual,pure and protective.

My favorite color, too, is red. I love magenta and berry reds, as well as very saturated reds. I’ve never thought of what it symbolizes, but it must mean to me passion, zest, confidence. It just makes me so happy. Red is such a startling color, it must be noticed.
