I've been cleaning it lately (today only) and putting aloe Vera on the Rash.
I feel Like I need to do more.

You may be able to use regular antibiotics as long as the dosage isn’t too high.

I’m a soon to be, first time dog owner.
It’s a puppy from a shelter so I had to do so much research and studying on how to look after him.
I read, several times, that it is not okay to give your dog antibiotics for humans.
It can result in more damage to its health and that will cost you a lot of money. Aspirins, which are a mild, common drug are restricted from dogs. As well as raisins and toothpaste.
The sweat rash should be looked at by a trained MD.
I understand its expensive but maybe you can try to find a local vet that might not charge as much.
Shelters usually have referrals to low costing animal clinics since they don’t want people to returns pets simply because they cannot afford their medical needs.
Go to your local shelter and ask for some numbers of low-costing vets or animal hospitals.
Another thing, please make sure the rash is covered.
You do not want the rash to get even more infected.

we’ve used human benadryl on our pug. the vet actually told us we could if she ever got stung again or had any allergies etc … she has swelled up around her nose and on her fur and once we give it to her she is fine within 30 min… just put it in a piece of cheese and they will gobble it up
